The course introduces to students the meaning of mobile applications, the types of mobile applications and how to develop mobile applications. The course uses Xamarin -a cross-platform- to build native Android and iOS applications based on the concepts used to program, design and develop mobile applications. The course covers areas such using using XAML elements to design mobile applications, using C# to program design applications and the application of databases in mobile application among others.
