The financial managers faces a multifaceted problem of sourcing for funds for working capital requirements, capital investments etc and putting controls in place. This necessarily requires that financial managers have available to them (and are able to use) a range of appropriate tools and techniques to assist them make informed decisions.

This course therefore takes students through the role and
purpose of financial management,
the three key financial management decisions and
the economic environment in which such decisions are made.
